Complete Mechanical Press Rebuild

Midsouth is fully capable of rebuilding your old press to work like new. This can be more cost-effective than buying and installing a new press. Often parts that seem to be too old to use anymore can be restored or repaired cheaper than replacing them. We can supply a fully rebuilt press for less than the cost of replacing the entire press. We work hard to ensure a timely project is done to the best of our abilities. Throughout the rebuilding process, we focus on our customer’s needs and are able to provide the highest quality work at the lowest price possible.

If you have an old press that isn’t working as well as it used to, or if you’re thinking about buying a new press, contact us to see how we can help. We offer free estimates and are always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Our Press Rebuild Process

Rebuilding a mechanical press requires a team of mechanical contractors who specialize in different trades. While a lot of the fabrication work takes place at one of our shops, we do some of the work on site. Welders and machinists repair cracks and use lathes to restore old press parts to like new. Deep industrial cleaning is also an important part of this process.

Once the press components have been fully restored it’s time for assembly and testing. We carefully check engineering tolerances before installing the press into its frame. We use sensitive equipment to test each component before returning the press to service.

Beyond the rebuild, we recommend to all of our customers to adopt a preventative maintenance program that meets the manufactures requirements or to hire our team for regular maintenance. Regular maintenance ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the press.
