Southeastern Millwright Services

Midsouth Mechanical Contracting takes full responsibility for our customer’s equipment when it arrives at the job site. Using hoisting and moving equipment, we position the pieces that need to be assembled. We have deep knowledge of the load-bearing capabilities of the equipment we utilize for each project as well as a comprehensive understanding of external forces.

Our millwrights read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures before constructing foundations, assembling, dismantling, and overhauling machinery and equipment. Skilled workers use hand and power tools as needed depending on the demands of each project. We have lathes, milling machines, and grinders. If we need to make customized parts or repairs, we can do that at our customer’s facility or in one of our shops located throughout the Southeast. In the course of work, we can move, assemble, and install machinery and equipment such as shafting, precision bearings, gearboxes, motors, mechanical clutches, conveyors, and tram rails, using hoists, pulleys, dollies, rollers, and trucks.

Midsouth can also perform preventative maintenance, such as lubrication of machinery, bearing replacement, seal replacement, cleaning of parts during an overhaul, and preventative maintenance. Our areas of specialty include installing, maintaining, upgrading, and fabricating machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial facilities. Midsouth Mechanical millwrights deliver precision and productivity to every job. Put the best millwrights in the Southeast to work on your next project.
